Youtube is flooded with scams crypto-advertising

The use of names of celebrities to promote a new project has become a very common practice in the crypto-industry. The scammers have made it their main spearhead.

Celebrities are paying the price

Business Insider recently discovered on YouTube of false advertisements promising to those who buy the Bitcoin Era, a trading application automated, huge returns on investment.
To lure investors unwary, the scammers promise the prestige of the application by advancing the argument that the entrepreneurs of well-known integrated platform, including Richard Branson, Elon Musk and Bill Gates.
At first glance, the announcement seems to have come of Blitz News, responsible for the promotion of the article. However, once users click on the ad, they are redirected to a message entitled : “SPECIAL REPORT : the British listen to Daniel Craig of 007 and they make millions from home “.
The content of the announcement details in fact the ways to become a millionaire in the space of three to four months, and this, for any individual who decides to engage in investment affordable.
YouTube had already taken the necessary measures to contain the spread of these false advertisements. It has responded by removing the ad. As to the names of celebrities mentioned in the ad, none of them has not yet issued comment.

The preferred method of scammers

The crypto-scammers use the names of celebrities to bamboozle the people with little gullible, and that, since the year 2017 where the market for crypto-currencies is starting to blossom.
The first recorded case was when the conspirators have created fake accounts in the name of Elon Musk, this was a real feat, given that the fake account was like so much of its profile official. The aim was to encourage users to post their digital assets.
And not later than the last year, the scammers had even attempted the coup, promising world and wonders, always featuring the name of Elon Musk, Kate Winslet, Richard Branson and Bill Gates.
