The series A financing of Alchemy, the startup of infrastructure provision Blockchain and tools for developers, has been crowned with success. The company has raised nearly 15 million dollars from a large number of business leaders influential.

That big names for Alchemy
Jerry Yang, the co-founder of Yahoo!, Reid Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn, and Charles Schwab have figured in the list of the investors, the most prominent having been the triumph of Alchemy in the last round of the table.
Apparently, the University of Stanford have also provided his contribution to the company. This great motivation is not very surprising, given that Nikil Viswanathan, and Joe Lau, the two co-founders of the company, are alumni of the university.
However, neither Stanford nor Alchemy have not issued any comment about this subtle coincidence, at the time where the two entities have been solicited to give their version of the facts.
In fact, the company hasn’t remained its laurels. It has scrutinized the strategic partners who would be interested to move to his side in the promotion of the technology Blockchain. Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle have not hesitated to express their interest.
Viswanathan and Lau are betting on the Blockchain
Despite the relative youth of Alchemy, Viswanathan and Lau have placed great hopes in their project of Blockchain. According to them, the Blockchain promises a widespread adoption, and the Alchemy is not in rest. Viswanathan reveals the extent of his ambition by saying :
“We want to be the Microsoft for the Blockchain “.
Recall that Lau had already assimilated the current situation of the technology Blockchain to that of computers in their infancy. To support his argument, he has stated in this regard :
“In the 70’s and 80’s, only the researchers were using computers and nowadays everybody uses a computer.”
