LocalBitcoins, the startup based in Helsinki that offers trading services for otc against bitcoins, has recently obtained the approval of the Authority Finnish financial supervision, the FIN-FSA, in order to become an official supplier of virtual currency in the country.

LocalBitcoins gets the backing of the Finland
The Finnish system will impose standards and legal requirements to operators of crypto-currencies for reasons of compliance and security. In this perspective, the FIN-FSA, the main financial authority in the country, will be responsible for monitoring and recording agencies in order to meet these requirements.
Among the companies operating in the field, LocaBitcoins, a site for the exchange of bitcoins, based in Helsinki since 2012 has been the first to be registered as an official supplier of virtual currency. The platform has announced that this initiative will be a new step in its evolution focused on the transparency, reliability and responsibility.
A decision by which the reliability of the company
The official record of LocalBitcoins as a crypto-provider approved by the authorities has been hailed by its CEO as a proof of the reliability. The company aspires in particular to national and international recognition for providing the best of its technology, while leading a campaign positive to the industry of the crypto-currency.
