After a few months of fairly tense for Pound, digital currency whose main promoter is Facebook, comes an initiative that is trying to explain its operation using a powerful combination for the audience: games and zombies. The company’s Loom has been working on a new free game called CryptoZombies, which is designed so that anyone can learn the basics of working with the code base Pound that Facebook has already launched. The goal is to attract different developers, who may not be familiar with the technology Blockchain, can take an interest in the ecosystem and getting to understand it. According to Matthew Campbell, CEO of Loom: “we Went to a meeting of Libra in Bangkok and they came out 100 developers and none of them were people of Blockchain (…) we Truly believe that this is the project that will attract many more developers to normal space-Blockchain”. It is for this reason that Loom developed a proposal that would be attractive to use that anyone could start their journey within the industry cryptographic. The theory of the company is that the games can be used to guide the online students through lessons of coding. “We’re going to make you do a little game, and you’re going to have a small payment system in the game,” said the CEO. Although until now only has been released the tutorial CryptoZombies, it is expected that this game will have a great success at the time of its official launch to the market. This is not the first time that Loom uses this strategy to achieve the promotion of the ecosystem. Had already released a CryptoZombies of Ethereum before, that has generated excellent results. That is why we decided to develop one more for Libra and ensure that iran releasing new versions as published more information on the code Libra. But there is another reason for the Loom is willing to support this project. “For us, it’s all about the incorporation of developers (…) The string Loom has to do with interoperability. Since we support four strings. We see Pound as a string more that we are going to support”. Despite skepticism about the efforts of Facebook to date, Campbell is anxious to see what happens when Libra is deep in the nature. “This is not the cryptography that we wanted, but it will all begin. I think that will be the ‘drug’ of input that we needed to bring people to other criptos”. The following two tabs change content below.
