Everipedia is a new and relatively unknown names. Would you be able to explain to you what it is?
“We are in the year 2015, started as an encyclopedia of “all things”. It is unlimited in the topics that you are about to read. This makes it very easy for anyone to join in. “What-you-see-is-what-you-get.’ And Everipedia is the first-ever encyclopedia on the blockchain is. We were the first wiki, which is a blockchain backend instead of a database.”
It’s back-end is built on it?
“The platform is built on the EOS. The reason for this is because, first, it’s much more than Ethereum. This is one of the most important reasons to choose canon EOS to choose from. We will keep track of their vision for the future.”
“It started by Dan Larimer, and he has a lot of experience in building web sites for the content. Our model is based on the same principles as those Steemit to. The people of EOS (that Block.one-ed.). have helped us a lot, and the investment in Mike Novogratz has a lot of made a huge difference.”
“We do not have any ICON, but only to an AirDrop. We have the investments received from several angel investors, and venture capitalists before we get started with the tokenizatie of the platform.”
You have to own a canon EOS token. Can you explain what exactly is the benefit of it?
“As the token, is called the IQ, and it is, indeed, based on the EOS. In our white paper, you will divide the value of the token in the three different modules and so on. The first one is that the token will need to use the IPFS (InterPlanetary File System is a good idea to make it work. This allows you to use the content in a decentralized way to save it.”
“The model for the token also shows the way in which people are rewarded for their work, and they deliver. This can be done by a stemmingsronde the tokenholders to do. If you have an article or publish one update, and then look at the IQ tokenholders whether it is acceptable or not. In this way, the management of the token is very democratic.”
So, if I publish it, it will be validated by a group of people?
“At this moment in time, everything will indeed be validated by the people who have the IQ of tokens back. If you use content to bring to the table, you also have this token, and if you have, indirectly, been able to get other people to upvoten or downvoten.”
How to encourage your users to use the token to continue to use it? And that’s a challenge for you?
“It is a fact that coins are ‘mined’ in order to contribute to the online encyclopedia. And that was the impetus for the authors. We like to think that people will have enough incentive to participate in the platform. We need every month about 2 million readers. However, so far, not a lot of accounts have been created, but since the official (re)launch, we expect that this is going to go up.”
“I have told you about the launch of the re-design of the web site. With the AirDrop, the token has already been in The re-design is more than just one of the new buitenkantje, but we have to have the software re-built. This allows us to make the site as easy as possible for our users.”
“We want to be competitive (and in fact, superior) to be at Wikipedia at every possible level. There should be no reason left to go to the Wikipedia to go on. To be the best version of each item should be on the Everipedia out there.”
“We don’t want to just be a back-end for everipedia.org. We would like to have a whole network of encyclopedias and Wikipedia would want to join, we are open to it. It takes a lot of time, but we hope that in the next few years, major steps have to go.”
“The Korean branch of Wikimedia, it is an independent trading platform. And considering seriously to move to Everipedia.””
China, Wikipedia was blocked. What do you see as the future for local content? Can you guys be?
“It’s happening now, and that’s something we can be proud of. The Chinese communists have, we are now also blocked. You can get a signal and stop it when it’s on a blockchain is. The content of this website may not be censored, and the new nodes can be easily on-line.”
What are some of your favorite blockchainprojecten, and / or protocol layers?
“I have been using the option at the web browser a lot. I’m used to the fact that even before the switch is made to the blockchain. They wanted to create a browser that is as strong as Chrome’s, but they have the better computer will have to be replaced.
“I would like to out of Steem. There are a variety of ways in which it could be improved, but they are very open to change. I like community-edited blogs and it is this principle that is very, very, very old.”
