The schemes that take advantage of the current technologies of encryption are far more secure and transparent,” noted the legislator on the illegal extraction of gasoline from the pipelines of distribution and their subsequent smuggling. “For example, the technology blockchain would make it traceable route of fuels and would be a great tool in the fight against the huachicoleo (theft of fuel). This would entail simplification, reliability, accessibility, and security”, he added.In connection with the rapid advancement of the technology and the delays that occur in updating the legislation, the deputy indicated that it is necessary to establish legal structures, flexible to adapt to the speed and evolution of technology to diminish the digital divide. “The law does not lag behind the face of a society in constant evolution, its early implementation is key before they become obsolete,” he said.
