A lawsuit against BitPay ?

Hong Kong Free Press (HKFP) has started accepting donations in bitcoin (“BTC”) and Bitcoin to Cash (BCH) in 2015. During this time, BitPay had processed transactions with a value of approximately 15 000 HKD, or 1 of 900 $.
Knowing that the crypto-donations in HKFP work on BitPay, is said to have blocked access to the crypto-currency three weeks ago, thus provoking massive protests throughout the city in hong kong.
The editor-in-chief of HKFP, Grundy has strongly criticized BitPay, denouncing the bad reputation, the customer service is poor and the transaction costs are too high that the crypto-platform ponctionne. He implied that he intended to carry out legal action against the company.

“The funds are held for weeks simply because the Hong Kong banks use SWIFT and non-IBAN. It really is the worst experience you can imagine. Bad reputation, communication quality is abysmal, customer service horrible, fees are very high. Almost all of the alternatives will be best, ” tweeted the editor-in-chief of HKFP.

A bad reputation

The platform BitPay has raised many controversies in the course of this year, resulting in a negative impact on its image. Given the unfortunate state of affairs in which there is BitPay, the reaction of the population seems to be justified.
