Integrated IBM Token the IOTA?
IOTA-to be used as tokens in various concepts and solutions within the Internet of things (IoT). With the rapid development of this technology, IOTA has moved increasingly into the spotlight, when it comes to real-world use cases from companies.
This week, the patent application US20190373051A1, which refers to the “Task Scheduling System for Internet of Things (IoT) Devices” was handed over to the final release. According to Google Patents this application of IBM has been submitted already in the year 2018.
Particularly interesting is the fact that the IOTA-Token is integrated in this concept. The authors of the patent write that users of IoT systems can assign your devices to a Token, in order to perform some tasks for you. More precisely it means:
the scheduler can facilitate the trading of tokens based on using capabilities of network devices in response to performing tasks.
This is referenced in the IBM patent application filed on the IOTA-Token as a means of payment.

IOTA is now in 111 patents mention
IOTA has already been able to celebrate some success in the real corporate world. The interest in the Internet of things is increasing and will in the future play an ever greater role. Alone in the year 2019, the IOTA was a Token of the Siemens AG, Blackberry Telecom , Intel Corporation, and by IBM in the patents mentioned.
At the time, there are a total of 111 patent applications from 44 companies various companies relating, among other things, also on the IOTA Protocol. Around 50% of all patents were filed by five companies:
INNOGY SE (energy providers, Germany, 25 logins),
SIEMENS AG (electronics, Germany, 12 applications),
RWE AG (energy supplier, Germany, 10 applications),
INTEL CORPORATION (semi-conductor, USA, 6 applications) and
MERCK (pharmaceuticals, Germany, 3 applications).
Researchers at the IOTA Ecosystem have developed a statistical Tool to analyze the progress of the IOTA-introduction by companies about their patent applications. According to the statistics of all patents were published in the last 365 days, approximately 77% of the patents.
