In its 10 years of existence, the Bitcoin has attracted the interest of investors, politicians, businesses but also researchers and academicians. While in 2009, over a hundred articles on the subject had been published by academics, Google Scholar reports more than 13700 articles for the year 2019.

More than 10 000 articles on Bitcoin after 10 years
The Bitcoin was designed to revolutionize the world of finance, and despite its low attractiveness to its beginning (because of its technical complexity), some observers have taken advantage of its potential. At the end of the publication of the white paper of Bitcoin, only a handful of students and other computer scientists are interested in its operation, however, the launch of the network will change this perception.
In 2009, nearly 100 academics, economists and teachers are especially focused on the protocol to examine the question of the Blockchain technology (crypto-currency). This curiosity will not cease to increase over the years, especially as the decentralized network will be adopted by way of countless structures such as companies, administrations, etc…
In the end, the Bitcoin and the Blockchain will be a real school that knows no limit so that the articles published on Google Scholar have multiplied to exceed 10,000 in just 10 years.

The Bitcoin is no longer the technical white paper that introduces the notions of algorithmic and math for geeks. Indeed, his impact on the modern consumer society encourages a cross-analysis involving the sociology, politics, economics etc…
The 13700 articles published on Google Scholar, indicating the Bitcoin explain as well the evolution of the notoriety of the technology. On the other hand, the knowledge of Bitcoin and the Blockchain is far from complete at the present time.
