The Binance Charity Foundation feels more than ever concerned by the fight against the spread of the terrible pandemic, the sars coronavirus. In this regard, the department dedicated to charitable works Binance recently organised a fundraising programme called Crypto Against COVID.

Several million dollars to the good cause
With this program, Binance plans to raise funds worth 5 million dollars through a number of crypto-currencies, including NBB, BTC, BUSD and XRP. The foundation will designate these funds in the purchase of medical supplies and relief to the countries severely affected by the pandemic, such as Italy, the United States and Spain and Germany.

The crypto-exchange promises to be more generous in allocating a million additional dollars, on the condition that his Twitter campaign gets a million retweets within seven days. In other words, a donation of $ 1 will be donated to the cause for every retweet received on the post.
During the announcement of the program, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder as well as CEO of the platform of crypto-exchange, took the opportunity to encourage the public to support the project in these terms :

Binance stands out from its counterparts for its fervor in the fight against the spread of the COVID-19. Since the early days of the epidemic, Binance Charity has been the first to launch a fundraising project dedicated to China to equip the last of the medical supplies needed.
Up to now, the foundation continues to provide test kits, disinfectants, gloves as well as other forms of personal protective equipment (PPE) to mitigate the spread of the virus in Hubei, Sichuan, Guangxi, and Shanghai.
