Recently, the company TD Ameritrade posted a tweet that raised hopes of the community cryptographic regard to Ripple (XRP). So much so, that there are rumors about that the platform will include the criptomoneda in the future. TD Ameritrade was one of the first companies to include the future of Bitcoin. In fact, it is considered one of the pioneers in the adoption of the criptomoneda. And everything indicates that we still have a good opinion about the industry of the encryption. Despite showing his receptivity in regard to digital currencies, community members were eager to know if he would give the next step and accept other cryptocurrencies. For this reason, the Twitter user, Tim Doerr, wrote to them asking if they would support other cryptocurrencies, such as Ripple. Before this, the company responded:
Thank you for your interest! Currently, we offer Bitcoin Futures on the CME. We will continue to monitor the market and consider additional opportunities going forward. ^ZB— TD Ameritrade (@TDAmeritrade) December 29, 2019
“Thank you for your interest! Currently, we offer Future of Bitcoin in the CME. We will continue to monitor the market and we will consider additional opportunities in the future.” This was not a concrete answer of “Yes” or “No”, so that the community cryptographic interpreted that as a “Maybe”. And maybe this was enough to that had great emotion around the topic. After the response was published, several media outlets began asking for more information to the spokespersons of the platform with respect to the topic. However, there is still no concrete answer about whether TD Ameritrade has plans or not to include Ripple in the future. In fact, one of the spokespersons of the platform was limited to declaring to CoinTelegraph that: “we are Always evaluating new products and services based on customer feedback”.

The acquisition of the company by Charles Schwab
Some consider that the recent acquisition of TD Ameritrade Charles Schwab could boost the adoption of Ripple. It is important to remember that Charles Schwab is the owner of the platform since the end of November of this year. Since that time, the cryptographic exchange backed by TD Ameritrade, ErisX, launched its own futures contracts of Bitcoin settled physically on December 17. With this, the company allowed the investors to receive cryptocurrencies real and not the cash equivalent. However, even though Charles Schwab is impacting on the adoption cryptographic TD Ameritrade, others consider that it is not the main cause of the theme of Ripple. Already in 2019, TD Ameritrade had insinuated that possibly I would add XRP to their platform. “We are still exploring space #XRP; stay tuned for more information. Our team is working hard to make things happen like this”. But never got anything. That also opens the debate on if this time, that was not even mentioned to Ripple in his publication, will really take shape something with the criptomoneda.
